Attention Canadian Companies:
Our Certification & E-Learning Programs qualify for the Canadian Job Grant Program.
What is the Canadian Job Grant Program?
The Canada Job Grant offers funding toward the cost of training provided by eligible third-party trainers. The total cost of training will be shared between the Government of Canada and employers.
The Government of Canada could provide two-thirds of the cost of training, up to a maximum of $10,000 per grant. Employers will be required to contribute the remaining one-third of the training costs.
What Type of Training is Covered?
The Canada Job Grant provides funding for training programs offered by eligible third-party trainers, such as community or career colleges, trade union centres or private trainers.
Training can take place in a variety of settings, including a classroom, at a workplace or online.
The Canada Job Grant can provide training to help individuals improve their skills or develop new skills in a variety of areas.
Eg. ABC Company CSR’s needs training in handling difficult customers. The cost of our “Handling Difficult Customers” training is $150 per user. ABC Company wants 10 agents to take this course (total cost of $1500). ABC Company applies for and receives a Canada Job Grant for $990. ABC Company pays the remaining $510. For a fraction of the cost ABC Company are able to train the 10 agents to gain the skills they need to handle difficult customers. The ROI is greater customer satisfaction and more skilled CSR’s for 1/3 of the normal costs.
